Over the years, men pay lesser attention to their health than women.  Statistics show that it takes longer for men to seek a doctor’s advice than women.  Men are also more prone to stress because of their higher tendency to define themselves by their work. They also smoke and drink more than women. Among the most common health issues that affect men are baldness, hypertension, infertility, sexually transmitted disease, diabetes, and stress.   Many of these health issues can be prevented and treated with early diagnosis.  Though statistics show that men are becoming more concerned about their health, it surely is vital for both men and women to seek medical help early on.
